Pixel Pole

In order to officially put the total pixel count over 10,000 lights, I decided to add a third Pixel Pole.

The addition of 150 pixels brings the total count up to 10,132.

The pixel poles are constructed with a 1/2″ inch EMT spine at 4′ long and two 3D printed ends. Each end can hold 6 strips of your desired length.

To make things simple, I chose a strip length of 25 pixels or half a string of 50. So, 3 strings later and you have 6 total strips making a mini matrix.

The strips are zip-tied to the mount and chained together.

A 16″ rebar is driven into the ground and the pole is placed over the rebar anchor. I usually hammer the pole into the ground a bit to give it stability.

I also left an inch of EMT at the top not only to hammer against, but for the possibility of future additions like a star or some other topper.
